Zizou was born in Marseille and raised in La Castellane. Though born in Marseille, Zidane has never played for Olympique de Marseille. Zizou career began at age 14 years, Algerian immigrant boy talent was discovered by a talent scout and a place in the U.S. Academy of Cannes. During the French league, Zizou played for AS Cannes and Girondins Bordeaux, before it was bought by Juventus for £ 3 million.
